At the same time, a mercenary team led by Mason Weaver is hired by a secretly Christian organization the ‘Alpha Omega’ to find and kill Godzilla. While on Skull Island, they discover that Kong is still alive and trying to protect the island from threats both human and monster. The two eventually come into conflict, leading to Godzilla’s victory.

Conclusion

In short, the Godzilla franchise is about a giant, prehistoric, fire-breathing lizard that was awakened and made to terrorize Japan. It’s up to a team of scientists and soldiers to destroy Godzilla and save the day. 

While the first movie is more of a disaster film, the later entries in the franchise are more action-packed, with Godzilla fighting other monsters like King Kong and Mechagodzilla.
